Wealth VEHICLES - There are many different ways to create Wealth - BUSINESS OWNERSHIP is perhaps the finest way [as stated by guru, Robert Kiyosaki]. This does not include SELF EMPLOYMENT. Within the area of Business Ownership, we could look at - Brick & Mortar Businesses - Franchises - Affiliate Marketing - Internet Marketing - Direct Sales - Intellectual Property - MLM//Network Marketing (+ InterNetwork Marketing) - Social Media Marketing - Membership Sites, etc.

Here, we're specializing on H-O-M-E Business industry.

What I [and many others] have discovered, after years of research, testing, experience, coaching others + having both successes and failures, is this => the INTERNET holds the greatest opportunity for us to succeed as "new-breed" ONline entrepreneurs - and the Online ATTRACTION MARKETING business model is a preferred method - one that can reap high returns long term [more about this below].

Business Model - Again, the best one that I (we) have found thus far - despite its flaws - is InterNetwork Marketing.  Not every company in this industry [that is "behind" these businesses] is the same.  It is critically important that you "investigate" them and that you choose the "right" ones - because your protection, safety and success will be at stake. 

 

OWNERSHIP - But more importantly, unless you find a way to "position" yourself as a truly 'DIVERSIFIED' and 'INDEPENDENT' BUSINESS OWNER -through SELF Branding - with access to MULTIPLE INCOME STREAMS - you'll be vulnerable, and exposed to (preventable) RISKS. Too many today are simply "joining an MLM" and positioning themselves as "commissioned Sales Reps" for such companies, where the companies have all the power, control and ownership - not the Rep.

I emphasize the need for "balancing" our life, health and wealth. Obviously, the vast majority of us want to become more FINANCIALLY SECURE and SUCCESSFUL - to enjoy LESS STRESS - to RETIRE EARLY, etc.  Let's embrace a truth:

                                    MY BUSINESS &

                       PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND       

          

Professionally - I have been self-employed most of my adult life, as a Financial Advisor and Business Consultant. My private practice has spanned over 25 years now, with small Business Professionals and Associates, primarily in  the USA and Canada - and my specialty has been mostly with solo-practice Health Professionals (physicians, dentists, chiropractors, surgeons, etc). 

 

I like HELPING people - always did. In my practice, if I can map out a Plan for a client, to eliminate debt - and/or show them how to reach an early retirement - or a way to fund the cost for their children's higher education - without a painful sacrifice on their part - I receive great satisfaction.  TEACHING others is my passion. 

 

Prior to this, and after school (Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS), I held different jobs, including a corp. position as Director of Training for a large International Insurance & Financial Services firm, headquartered in Montreal, Canada - and then went into the field as an Insurance & Estate Planning Consultant, where in Direct Sales, I was happilly able to qualify for the MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) award + a number of nice trips, awards and other bonuses.

 

Home Business Industry - I am also a Home Biz Coach and the founder of a company that has worked with small business owners and professionals for many years - Business Achievers Academy (a division of The ARCOM Group, Inc).

 

Network Marketing - I became intrigued [but skeptical, at first] with the MLM//Network Marketing industry in 1986. Since then, as a Professional Network Marketer - I have seen the good, bad and ugly of this industry.

 

Our MLM Experience - My wife and I have been associated with many fine companies over these years (and some not so fine!). We have had successes and failures. We have had many caring and experienced upline leaders - and many who operated on greed and ego. We have seen corporate management teams that were drenched in integrity - and  others that were less than honorable, and dictatorial. We have been the victims of very a number of bad P&Ps (Policies & Procedures) and enjoyed a couple of 'associate-friendly' ones. You name it - we've been-there-done-that - the whole gammit.

 

NETWORK MARKETING is a business model that I respect, and that has many, many wonderful benefits to offer [but only if the business opportunity is carefully researched, and cautiously selected]. I now believe [finally!] - that I'm pretty well able to properly analyize and evaluate most Home Business ventures.

 

DRA - I will confess, I witness some of the horror stories out there as well - and there are many. The Distributor Rights Association ( DRA ) - a global, non-profit body - acts to protect the rights and freedoms of Network Marketers everywhere. I am involved in a number of professional industry associations, including the DRA.

 

I'm also a member of the PANM (Professional Association for Network Marketing - www.PANM.org ) - and serve on the Advisory Board of OPRIUS - a Canadian firm that supplies the global Network Marketing industry with its comprehensive Data-Management Systems ( www.Oprius.com ).

               

PERSONAL &  FAMILY BACKGROUND

 

                                                             

                               

Blessings - My lovely wife Mary Ann (an RN) and I have been happily married for 35+ years now. We live in beautiful Atlantic Canada [Nova Scotia]. We have been blessed with two exceptional sons, Stephen [a business owner/entrepreneur] and Graham [a teacher/coach] - both living in Toronto - both with University degrees. Graham is married to Yuko [from Japan] - Stephen is married to Stephanie [from Hong Kong]. We are SO proud of them all!

Born in Atlantic Canada - I was born in Saint John, province of New Brunswick. Mary Ann was born in Nova Scotia. I come from an average, middle-class background - Mary Ann the same.

 

During my young adult years, I made my way through several career choices. Guess you could say I was "looking for my niche" in life. I'm the second oldest of eight children. My Dad died when I was very young, and my Mom remarried a few years later. Atlantic Canada is a very beautiful part of the world - directly up the coastline from New York state, on the Atlantic ocean (cool breezes every evening :-)

 

Mary Ann's parents are gone, and she is the oldest of four siblings. She is an RN, with specialties in palliative care and wound control - and as a result, "I" am well cared for!

Blind Date - Life experience has taught me that the universe will give us exactly what we attract - Mary Ann  and I met on a blind date (I always wanted to meet a 'blonde nurse'!) - and that date was arranged by a buddy of mine at our university, who dated [and later married] my date's girlfriend! :-)

 

Mary Ann is my sweetheart and closest friend on this planet. In the picture at the right, she is in beautiful Lunenburg, NS -where the senic coastline is dotted with sailboats, fishing vessels and yachts =============================>
 
She has always been the anchor in our family, and a caring and supportive treasure to me and our sons.
 
We share similar philosophies about life and on many levels - spiritually, emotionally, physically, and more. We also share the same values - the same work ethic - many of the same goals. And above all, we both love to help others and have fun.

 

Adversities - Mary Ann and I have been through some tough times together too - financial (back when we were struggling to make ends meet) - a major legal battle (which I eventually won, after 5 long years, but at enormous cost) - some serious health issues, etc.

 

However - these have served to strengthen us, and now - with our highly automated business ventures, we are witnessing a blessing in our lives.

 

Interests / Hobbies - We both enjoy home-made wine! Our values are first, family, good friends, spiritual and personal growth. Mary Ann loves the water and swimming. Personally, I have interests in - golf - good books - James Bond movies - drawing (I used to be quite the artist, doing many canvass oil paintings!).

 

GOLF - This is perhaps the nicest, cleanest, most professional sport I know of. I have always loved it - the peaceful scenery that is associated with the golf course - the magnificant "green" landscapes - you name it. The sport is competitive, yet very friendly - there's a camaraderie between players that is rare in sport.

 

 

PETS - If you've ever owned a puppy like a Toy Poodle, you'll know what I mean when I say it's your own "child"! :-)  Mary Ann and I have had three different Toy Poodles now - but Mindy was our most memorable "baby". It was as though we had our two sons (Stephen and Graham) - but she was our little daughter.

 

Everybody loved her. Her intelligence was amazing - and her personality was memorable - spunky, bold, but loving. Her little bark was beautiful - her habits, adorable.

 

We adored Mindy - but after 14 memorable years - sadly, she finally left us. It was a painful time. What a terrible void. We miss her so much that we felt we didn't want to go 'through' that kind of loss again. We may relent on that at some point - only time will tell. Pet owners will relate.

                                     

CAREER REALITIES / FINANCIAL EDUCATION 

 

As much as I enjoyed my previous work - both in corporate and in professional sales - it was LINEAR income. That meant - when I worked [or made sales, of investment//insurance planning products] - I got paid. On the other hand, when I didn't - I received NO income. The reality is - any Employee, or any Self-employed individual is in this exact position [including the solo-professionals I counsel]. Too many end up under severe pressure and/or face burnout. With my practice, I soon found out that all I really owned was a full-time job disguised as a business. And it "owned ME" - there were not enough hours in the week.

 

 

Cash Flow Quadrant - I was on the LEFT side of the Quadrant - the E (Employee) and the S (Self Employed) - as taught in Robert Kiyosaki's now famous book, the Cash Flow Quadrant - and need to consider moving to the RGHT side of the Quadrant - the B (Business ownership) and I (Investments) side - for the ultimate in wealth creation and financial freedom.

 

Otherwise, we are far too "vulnerable" - especially if we have only ONE source of income.

Owning a BUSINESS - Please keep in mind that 'nothing' - not personal real estate - not the stock market - not gold - rare art - coins - stamp collections - vintage autos - family heirlooms - nothing has brought financial independence to as many people as has business ownership.

 

Major KEY - The late oil billionaire, J.Paul Getty put it this way -- "You will never have financial security, or build real wealth, working for someone else." He went on to explain that we 'must' do 5 things to achieve complete economic independence, as follows -- (1)- we must be in business for ourselves -- (2)- we must market 'consumable' products and services, that appeal to the masses -- (3)- we must offer excellent service and solid guarantees -- (4)- we must give affordable and competitive pricing -- and most importantly, (5)- we must build our 'own' success upon the success of 'others' (leverage // residual income).

What About SELF EMPLOYMENT? - Yes, as attractive as Self Employment may be (and it can be) - it is still "trading HOURS for DOLLARS" - "TIME for MONEY". You do the work - you get paid. There is usually little or NO ((passive)) income - let alone 'multiple' streams of diversified income.  
 

The Self Employed must continue to BE there [working] to create their incomes. Many have what they believe are magnificant and satisfying chosen careers - and that's wonderful. BUT when they get sick - or are in an accident - or get shut down - or go on vacation - or are sleeping - their income basically STOPS. Many make very large incomes, but many also have expensive lifestyles, max out their credit cards, owe high taxes, face heavy workloads.

 

Health Care Professionals - In particular, this sector of the Self Employed gets hit very hard. I know, because these are the clients I have specialized with in my private practice. Our physicians, dentists, chiropractors, surgeons, veterinarians, naturopaths are among the hardest working professionals in North American society. Most often, they take better care of their patients than they do of themselves. Not only does the above paragraph apply to them too - but, with more and more Government interference / regulations - with soaring costs of malpractice insurance - and with increasing lawsuits - more than ever, they need to be creating extra "passive" income streams.  

 

Bottom Line - Given the above, I too, I realized that I needed to "diversify". I couldn't work for anyone else - so being my own boss was the only logical choice for me - BUT - it had to be through "business ownership" (and of the right kinds) - and I knew I would have to 'position' myself intelligently to maximize my own future success.

                 

PASSIVE INCOME STREAMS - ONLINE

 

Linear -vs- Passive - The message was clear - I was going to either supplement - or replace - my "linear" income, with "passive" income sources. So since about 1995, I've been earning a full-time income Online, mostly within the Network Marketing // Internet-Affiliate Marketing // Direct Sales industries - but now - wherever possible - I tend to focus primarily on those 'passive income' ventures, where the usual issues like recruiting and advertising to make money are strictly optional and not required.

 

In order to accomplish this, I decided to educate myself and find out how to LEVERAGE my time and money using the Internet.

 

We are enjoying an incredible sense of security, peace of mind and time-freedom because of this - as we are now creating multiple streams of passive income - from different sources. That way, if any of  'em dry up, it's no big deal - we're still able to pay the bills - feed ourselves - and much more!  

              

There is no magic to what I [or my team] do - or what we're accomplishing. I [we] just keep an open mind, continue to get educated, and try lots of things. Some work out - some don't. Success is not counted by how high we've climbed, but by how many people we brought with us.

 

Helping others achieve financial success is my personal and business mission.

PROSPERITY Consciousness - As hard as it may seem at times, during recessions and wars, we still need to shift our focus away from that which emphasizes "fear" and "scarcity". Whether we believe it or not - we live in a universe of enormous opportunity and "abundance". WEALTH is created first, in our minds - I like to embrace the term => The Wealth Manifesto.

LOA / Law of Attraction - I believe in the LAW of Attraction - that is, "like attracks like". We live in a society that tends to focus on the negative. and so we're vulnerable - we can become infected. One of my strengths I believe, is that I strive to surround myself with "positive energy" (good people - good books - good events - good nutrition, etc). Like anyone else, I'm human (and certain things can 'get to me') - but for the most part - I'm pretty good at killing off the enemies of success and fulfillment. Throughout this website, I refer to LOA many times - both for personal consumption and for business. 

 

What is Living WORRY-FREE worth to You?
 

Donald Trump, Warren Buffet, and Robert Kiyosaki all agree that there are two ((2)) ways to really create WEALTH

Have you ever noticed that we tend to do business with people that we know, like and trust, and find credible? 

 

And just so you know, you won't find me hiding behind my website or my e-mails, like some others do. I will provide you with ALL my contact info.
 

I wan't to be able to 'connect' and identify with you. We may be very similar in many ways, I don't know. My guess is that if you're still reading this, you've probably had some experience with a "home business" or "investment opportunity" before. And for most of us, it wasn't a positive one... am I right?

Like me, you've probably wasted time and money struggling to figure out how to succeed with your own business[es] Online, or if it was even possible in the first place.

Well, not only is it possible for ANYONE to make money Online, I'll do my best to point you in the right direction and help you see how this can become a reality for you.

What I do NOT do to build my Internet businesses...

• I don't make a list of my friends and family to pitch to
• I don't hold one-on-one presentations or business meetings
• I don't Spam (unsolicited e-mail)
• I don't stock a garage full of products 
• I don't do home parties :-)
• I don't 'cold call' strangers
• I don't do traditional sales

In other words, I don't do most of the things that you might think are required to make money in Home-Based Businesses.

What I DO...
  

I only work with people who have searched me out first... and there's a specific 'formula' that works almost like magic.

 

I love to be 'involved with people'. I feel it's the only way we create a "synergy" among us - where the 'total' effort is far greater than the sum of our individual efforts.

 

I love a TEAMWORK environment - one where we can become cheerleaders for, and encouragers of, each other. 

 

One thing you'll notice here is - this isn't some cookie-cutter, replicated website that looks like all the rest out there. It's unique, because it's primarily about ME, and not some impersonal, characterless and/or uninspiring Biz Op site (which happens to be the vast majority).

 

It's not a 'corporate' site. It's a very personal name-branding site, and our team has helped lots of people learn how to build them, to create more trust and build relationships with their prospects, AUTOMATICALLY.

DIVERSIFICATION
 

 

Keeping Things Separate - I prefer income preservation through diversification, instead of putting all my [colored] eggs in one basket.

 

Think Baskin Robbins. They have 31 flavors for a good reason; not everyone likes the same thing. It is exactly the same way with a Home Business. I like to have - and offer - more than one flavor - a "business buffet" if you will, or Portfolio.

 

But I take it one step further by focusing on building businesses that are primarily passive in nature... meaning, a person can put their money to work for them with or without referring others or selling things to people.

 

In other words, little or no recruiting is required to generate income, with many of my ventures.

Why do I (we) focus primarily on PASSIVE INCOME ventures?

Simple - I (and my team) learned many years ago that, generally speaking, people are lazy.

 

They want it better - cheaper - faster - easier... so I (we) cater to people's lazy nature.
         

For a number of years, much of my time with Online businesses was focused on Affiliate Marketing (selling other people's products and services) - Internet Marketing - Direct Sales - but mostly with Network Marketing.

 

In my private practice, I've coached my Health Professional clients in these areas - and in my business enterprizes, my biz partner associates.
 

Although I made reasonably good money doing this, the time factor was great - it really took its toll. 12-15 hour days were not uncommon! I became tired of being on a treadmill and felt out of balance. I wasn't having fun anymore. I was feeling 'burned out'.

 

Eventually, my common sense and fun-seeking side said - I've had enough!. The daily routine of prospecting, recruiting, doing 3-way calls, trainings, and dealing with monthly attrition and qualification requirements can be very, very draining both emotionally, physically, and financially.
           

If you've been involved in any type of 'traditional' MLM//Network Marketing program, maybe you can relate to this. Please don't misunderstand - Network Marketing can be - and is - a wonderful way to make money (and grow yourself personally) - but over the last 60 years the industry has existed, over 95% don't ever see real success.

 

Those numbers haven't changed in all these years, even with the Internet and all this whiz-bang technology that's available. Building a traditional MLM + selling and recruiting to create a residual income (most people don't like to sell or recruit) is not for everybody. Some people are good at it - most people are not.
 

So - until I met up with the ATTRACTION MARKETING business model - my own experience in all this led me to....

 

                                         THE PATH OF 

                           LEAST RESISTANCE

 

The solution (for me - at the time) =>The Path of Least Resistance

 

HYIPS (High Yield Investment Programs) - It was almost like being hit with a bucket of cold water. First, in 2004, I was introduced to the High Yield, passive income industry and frankly, in the beginning, I had dismissed what I was seeing as just "money games" (and 99.9% of them are) - but the concept  of earning passive residual income this way sure got my attention! 

 

So I  read… and read… and read… then I searched and searched... and then, read some more.

                      

Then, the realization of what I had found...

 

Despite all the "negatives" about HYIPS [most are offshore - most are vague about their investment holdings - most are difficult (if not impossible) to contact or get detailed information from - etc] -- nevertheless, when you take away all the negatives of building say, a typical "Network Marketing" business - you're left with something that greatly appeals to the majority of people around the world who are NON-marketers.

 

I call this "the path of least resistance" because when you remove resistance, you have something that most people will be attracted to.

In my other businesses, I was used to being tied to the phone, doing prospecting and coaching calls, having to talk to lots of people -- and what I experience NOW is much more peace in my life + more time to share with my life partner and wife, Mary Ann.

 

The difference has been night and day and I now make much more than ever before and work much less. I know I [we] can help you do the same.

 

Little to No Recruiting or Selling or Advertising Required - It's important to note that our Team has invested time and money to research and test MANY ventures/opportunities - and most, if not all, don't require any [or very much] recruiting or referring others to make money... refreshing, right?

 

Unique Business Model - And this is 'especially' true for one business - as it has an entirely different Business Model from the vast majority out there.

If you're a marketer, or you like to share a good thing with others, you can sponsor others too - and therefore, through leverage - earn some really great revenues - but it's completely optional.
                      

My team and I have been able to make a lot of money with some of these programs - as well as with Inter-Network Marketing...

 

Back to the more "passive" deals - - - 

 

Along the way we have also been burned by a number of "scams" that claimed to be genuine business opportunities - yet in the end, they were just out to take our money.

 

My OWN Expertise? - You might think that, because of my professional background, I should easily "know" which are good ventures and which are not. Well, despite my natural inclination for heavy due dilligence [it's what I'm trained to do, for my clients] - many of the 'bad' ones are hard to spot. For example, I have since learned [the hard way] that 99.9% of all Online HYIPs (High Yield Investment Programs) are scams or ponzis - and they WILL run off with our money at some point.
   

Over time, (mostly by being stubborn) our team learned a lot about how to find profitable ventures and how to do proper due diligence to ascertain whether a program is likely to be a long term success (or not).         

 

I am constantly studying and researching programs / businesses / investments in the marketplace. I will only put in my own money once I'm satisfied - to the best of my knowledge - that they are stable and honest.
 

The educational information provided to you on this site is not based on theory, but from good sources + real life experiences. I [we] have done extensive homework. In some cases it's cost money - but very valuable lessons have been learned from such experiences. I have followed the wisdom of my mentors, and this is what I'm passing onto you. It's my way of "paying it forward".

The reality is, the cards are stacked in your favor. I have faith that the Universe will reward those that of us who contribute to the lives of others - and as long as we're doing our part - it will do its part (thank goodness)!

                        AUTOMATE MY BUSINESSES?
  

A lot of people want to know how my team and I AUTOMATE our businesses and generate excellent cash flows of dollars regularly, virtually on autopilot. I (we) do NO cold calling - and all of my clients / business partners come directly to me.
 

I guess I'm like a reference librarian, or a tour guide, who tells people where to go to get information, and after they get it, IF it interests them, I simply take their orders - assist them in joining and start our coaching process. It's as simple as that.

What Automated SYSTEMS & TOOLS do I Use? - What is it that you need to do that will bring trust and credibility with your clients, based on who you are?

That's a BIG secret that almost NO one will tell you. Yet, when people buy a product or service from you, they're not just buying that product or service => they're buying YOU first!

Here's a short list of just a few of the things I did / use to help automate my businesses.  I'll teach you how to use each one, so you can automate your business[es] too!

 My first "major" step was to become aligned with Network Marketing legends, Mike Dillard and Ann Sieg (see above). Their Marketing Systems and EDUCATION for Online ATTRACTION MARKETING for Network Marketers are without parallel. 

 The second critical step was to enroll in both McKay Earl's The 90-Day (and 30Day) Marketer + Ann Sieg's Renegade System + Ann Sieg's &  Mike Klingler's Renegade Professional + Rod Moore's MLM Attraction Marketing University - mainly for Inter-Network Marketing - to receive the absolute finest education in "marketing SKILLS - especially for NO COST advertising and promotion strategies. Nothing else out there compares with these two programs in my opinion - they take Sirg's and Dillard's programs to the next level.  I also built a name-branding WHO IS Page - like this one, as well as other Websites + Blogs.  You can too - to tell YOUR story - show your pictures and talk about you - your passions - your hobbies and interests.  Use the http://hop.clickbank.net/?122866/presseq  media and pressreleases to get free traffic and post it in the search engines so people find you with your special unique keywords;

 Post websites in the search engines, so people find you with your high value content and smart keywords;

 Build your own BLOG - create Squidoo Lenses - Hub Pages -   

 Start posting on MySpace -- FaceBook -- Twitter, etc, etc;   

 Use Pay Per Click (PPC) search engines like this expert teaches - http://PerryMarshall.com/  
    

 Use a quality Autoresponder, like GetResponse.com -  www.GetResponse.com/index/academy - or AWeber.com - or Oprius.com - which are each VALUE based, and not just opportunity offers or ads;
    

 Learn how to do Video marketing (YouTube, etc);

 

 Write Articles and submit them to article distribution sites + use YouTube / MySpace / FaceBook / Squidoo, etc.
    

 Speak on tele-seminars and cross-sell different packages to people who attend them;
    

 Create information products with your information embedded in them and make them viral;
    

 Use http://BYOAudio.com/  - Audio tools - which allow you to put your voice on your website, and in emails, and make you more human and authentic to your visitors - and enable your words to tell people what to do...

NOTE - It's important NOT to become 'overwhelmed' by this - it can ALL be learned - most of the above strategies are taught - through excellent Trainings + Video Tutorials - at RUniv + RPro and The 90//30-Day Marketer (see above).  

      

That's pretty much what our team and I do to encourage people to come to US, and I'll tell you what - these work! I get regular calls each and every week - some on our team get 'many' responses each day.
 
These strategies / systems aren't 100% automated, but they're automated to the point where it brings prospects to contact me (us) via email or phone, and then we chat - learn about each other - and see if there's a "mutual fit" to do business together.

In my experience, one of the most powerful concepts I learned when I set out to create financial freedom in my life was l-e-v-e-r-a-g-e.

Truly understanding this concept is what separates the poor and the middle class - from the wealthy.
  
The POOR will learn how to use enough leverage 'just to get by'. The MIDDLE CLASS will wait until they can look at their life and say - “Gee, I think I’m comfortable” - and then stop adding leverage to their lives. 

 

But the WEALTHY will keep adding more and more leverage throughout their lives, to create more and more wealth. Wealthy people understand that creating wealth involves leveraging their time and money and efforts.  Even in grim economic times.

 

And that’s why they have a lot of poor and middle class 'working' for them.
 

But what IS leverage, really?  
  
Well, my Thesaurus says it's: influence, power, force, control, pull, weight. Simply put, leverage is doing more and more - with less and less.
  
Less of what? Less time - less effort - less energy - less worry - less stress - less money.
  

More of what? More income - more results - more value - more free time - more lifestyle.
  
If you're currently trading your TIME for DOLLARS, you can only exchange about 14-15 hours a day. max. - and only earn so much (and you're literally selling your life). But if you can LEVERAGE time - and have systems set up - that run on their own - there's virtually no limit to how much you can earn.

So... the true secret to living an abundant life is not to get a great JOB - but to learn how to leverage your life.

Now there are certain forms of leverage that most people have absolutely no clue about. These are only used by a very small majority of every society who use it to live a life of abundance.
 
The funny thing is, the ones that don’t know about this kind of leverage are taught to believe that these things are “too risky”! Ironically, that's exactly why they never become wealthy themselves.
  
How do you leverage TIME?
  
Well, one of the most popular ways is to become a business owner [the right 'kind' of business]. This is someone who leverages his/her time by having people work for them, and/or someone who owns a marketing business (Network Marketing / Internet Marketing / Affiliate Marketing / Direct Sales / Membership-Subscription Biz), where they earn a percentage from other people's efforts (their downline / subscribers, etc).
  
The other way is to become an investor - someone who uses money as leverage.
 
How do you leverage MONEY?
  
You let other people's money work for you.
  

-- Your bank makes money with your money / leverage

-- Your insurance company makes money with your money / leverage

-- Your mortgage company makes money with your money / leverage
